Dr. Bruce M. Mackh is a scholar-practitioner, strategist, and executive coach with deep expertise in higher education leadership, academic operations, and institutional reform. Dr. Mackh previously served as faculty member and instructor at Michigan State University, the University of Alabama, Texas Tech University and as Vice Provost and Chief Accreditation Officer at Wright State University. He has led initiatives in program prioritization, academic business planning, accreditation, online education redesign, and student success, managing budgets of nearly $20 million and advancing institutional alignment with mission and strategy. He has secured major grants, developed workforce-aligned programs, and built partnerships with K-12 schools, community colleges, industry, and international institutions.
Dr. Mackh is internationally cited and recognized in the top 2% of researchers by views at academia.edu, Dr. Mackh’s scholarship spans curriculum and pedagogy, leadership, organizational design, and critical studies.
