Catalina Global continues to elevate international higher education collaboration through the launch of new dual degree programs between the University of Minnesota, Morris (UMN Morris) and Baitursynuly University (BU) in Kostanay, Kazakhstan. These two institutions, along with direct support from the Kazakhstan Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Catalina Global, have created a groundbreaking partnership opportunity for Kazakhstan students and faculty, making new contributions to Kazakhstan higher education development. The first cohort of dual enrolled students began their study in the fall 2024 and will earn UMN Morris and BU degrees, while studying courses taught by UMN faculty on the BU and UMN Morris campuses.
